A brand identity built for JobCannon, an AI-powered recruiting platform that matches candidates with employers based on real skills and abilities, not just keywords on a resume.
Challenge
We had to give a recruiting startup a visual identity that could actually stand out in the job search space, a market packed with sterile, corporate sameness. The brand needed to speak to IT specialists specifically, feel modern and a little bold, and stay memorable enough to be recognized across a logo, merch, conference materials, social content and more.

Solution
We built the logo around the idea of a "job cannon," pulling in the J and C from the company name and shaping it to feel like a large-caliber gun, a nod to the swift advancement the platform promises in someone's career. Neon flair, deep dark backgrounds and bold gradients became the core visual language, giving the brand a confident, slightly rebellious edge with lines like "Get shit done" and "HR matters" carrying that tone through the merch. From there we extended the identity across everything JobCannon needed day to day: business cards and printed assets, a conference brochure and signage, ten Zoom backgrounds, and a set of Instagram post templates designed to stop the scroll.
