Most AI products do not fail because of the model. They fail because users do not understand what the AI can do, cannot check its answers, or lose trust after the first mistake. Cosmos Studio designs the layer between the model and the user: prompts and suggestions, answers with sources, loading and error states, and the controls that keep people in charge.
Our AI work includes the Loamly AI-native CRM, the SoloChat AI assistant for macOS, the Umami Ware website for an AI and data science company, which drew 70,000+ visitors in two months, and brand identities for the AI startups Numo and JobCannon.
These are the AI projects teams bring to us most often. We design the product and build the front end with the same senior team.
For SoloChat, a macOS AI assistant, we designed a compact interface with clear input cues, live source search inside the conversation, friendlier error handling and screen-reader support, so the app stays fast and easy to learn.
For Loamly, an AI-native CRM, we designed the product logic, UX and UI around a sales team’s daily work, so automation and AI suggestions feel human and complex funnels stay easy to manage.
We design how the product shows sources, confidence and limits, what happens while the model is thinking and how users fix a wrong answer. These states decide whether people keep using an AI product.
We design and build websites that make AI products easy to understand. The Umami Ware website won Awwwards and CSS Design Awards recognition, and the Neo Vision website lets visitors switch every page between four tones of voice.
We create brand identities for AI products that do not look like every other AI startup, from Numo’s retro hacker-culture system to JobCannon’s neon identity for AI recruiting.
AI changes the interface: answers vary, take time and can be wrong. We design for that from the first sketch.
We design loading, partial-answer, empty and error states for every AI feature, so users know what is happening and what to do next.
Users trust answers they can check. We show sources, references and what the AI used, as in SoloChat’s live source search.
AI suggests, people decide. We design clear ways to edit, undo, confirm and switch off automation.
Suggestions, templates and context-aware actions help users get value without writing the perfect prompt.
We design for screen readers, keyboard use and readable answers, following WCAG accessibility guidelines.
We test AI interactions with interactive prototypes, often in code, so timing and streaming answers feel real before release.

Book a Discovery CallYou need someone to train or host AI models, a template interface in a few days, or a budget below $5,000.
Projects start at $5,000, and hourly rates start at $50. The price depends on the number of AI features, user roles and screens, and we estimate it after a discovery call.
A typical product design project takes 4–8 weeks, and MVP design usually takes 6–8 weeks. Larger AI platforms are delivered in stages.
No. We design the product and build the front end in React or Next.js. Your engineering team or our senior backend partners handle models, data and infrastructure.
We design loading, partial-answer and error states, show sources and limits, and give users clear ways to edit, retry or undo. Users should always understand what the AI did and why.
