About
EdCamp Ukraine is an NGO that brings modern educational practices to schools, supports teachers’ professional growth and contributes to education policy in Ukraine. Cosmos Studio redesigned its website to make a large volume of content accessible, clear and easy to use.
Challenge
EdCamp is a platform for teachers’ professional development, experience sharing and the best international practices. Our task was to update the website to match the new brand identity, structure a large amount of content and create an intuitive user experience that helps people quickly find what they need.
Design process
We built the new design around the bright brand identity created by bulanov.buro. Its graphic elements became an important part of the interface, balancing visual expression with simplicity, readability and transparent navigation.
Scale of the project
One of the biggest challenges was the size of the website. We wanted every page to feel unique while keeping one consistent style and user experience. Designing dozens of pages required a well-thought-out design system, and our team developed the education website on WordPress so EdCamp can manage all this content on its own.
UX redesign and information architecture
The key task was to rethink the site structure. We simplified navigation, reworked the information architecture and organized a large volume of content so users can find information fast and interact with the platform comfortably.
Visual style
We aimed for a modern, recognizable design that stays easy to read even with a lot of information. Bright identity, expressive typography, color accents and careful composition make the site dynamic, friendly and professional at the same time.
Favorite details
We paid special attention to micro-animations, illustrations and interactive details. They add character, support the new identity and make interaction with the platform more lively and emotional.
Awards
After launch the project was recognized by the design community: Awwwards Honors and CSS Design Awards for Special Kudos, Innovation, UI Design and UX Design – confirming the high quality of the design and implementation.
Results
We created a modern education website that combines a bright visual style, thoughtful UX and a clear information architecture. The platform became more convenient for teachers, partners and educational organizations, and the new structure and design significantly improved how users interact with the site – proof that good UX/UI can make a complex educational resource simple, accessible and attractive.
