Exoform is a MedTech company that builds advanced 3D scanning and 3D printing technology for producing custom prosthetics and orthotic devices. It needed a desktop app that makes preparing 3D models for printing fast, precise and simple for clinicians.

Challenge
Clinicians needed a way to turn raw 3D scans of limbs into clean, print-ready models without wrestling with heavyweight, engineering-grade 3D software — the workflow had to be precise enough for medical production, yet simple enough to fit into everyday clinical use.

Key workflows
Every model enters the system as a raw scan. We designed a clear workspace where users track the processing status of pending scans and manage the next steps. A visual scan library makes it easy to work with both small collections and large databases. Built-in micro-tutorials and hints help new users learn the tools quickly, so users move faster from a raw scan to a print-ready model.

Solution
We designed a custom desktop application with an intuitive interface built around Exoform's real workflow: scanning, a pending-scans queue, a searchable scan library, model cleanup and alignment tools, flexible file-processing options, and export to print — plus an in-app tutorial library so new users get up to speed fast. The result is a smooth, professional-grade experience that supports Exoform's high standards for 3D production.
