About
Umami View is a B2B SaaS platform for opticians and optometrists. It connects consultants, customers, stores and admin teams in one omnichannel system, so optical businesses can run sales, payments, eyewear selection and eye measurements without a complex local IT setup.
Challenge
The team came to us for a full redesign of the SaaS platform and its user experience. Account activation was complicated, the support team received too many requests, different user groups struggled to work together, and an outdated interface held back the growth of the product. We had to make a large, multi-role platform simple enough for everyday work in an optical store.
Solution
We designed one digital ecosystem that brings consultants, customers, stores and administrators into a single workspace. Clear UX lets staff finish daily tasks without switching between tools. We designed an intuitive payments module, an eyewear selection flow with detailed specs, prices and options, and dedicated tools that help consultants take measurements and fit contact lenses for each customer. We also created a new brand identity that reflects simplicity, transparency and care.
Result
A new UX architecture, a modular design system and 19 connected apps turned Umami View into a scalable SaaS platform for the optical industry. Staff do fewer manual operations, the workflow runs without breaks, and the product is ready to grow with new modules and markets.
